Chianti Rufina D.O.C.G. “Pezzatino”

Vines: Sangiovese 100%

Characteristics: intense ruby red colour, evident scent, taste that is dry, full bodied, harmonious, with a pleasant and persistent aftertaste.

Serving suggestions: with roast, grilled and game meats. Slightly spicy and seasoned cheeses.

Chianti Rufina D.O.C.G. “Asteria Reserve”

Vines: Sangiovese 90% Merlot 10%

Characteristics: ruby red colour tending to pomegranate, barrel aged for 2 years, aroma of red and black berries, sometimes a scent of violets. The flavour is harmonious, dry, fruity and slightly tannic.

Serving suggestions: Asteria is served with braised and roasted meats, marinated hare and all kinds of rich and flavourful meats.

I.G.T. Tuscan Red “Merlo D’oro”

Vines: Merlot 100%

Characteristics: after a careful selection of the best grapes and four years of aging in medium-aged first-time French oak “Allier” barrels di primo passaggio mediamente stagionato, proveniente da foreste francesi, Merlo d’oro was born, with intense ruby red colour, a very persistent scent of blackberries with fullness and a smooth taste. This wine is conceived as a challenge to the territory as it is famous for being the land of Sangiovese.

Natural fermentation without added yeasts for at least 3 weeks with pumping over twice per day. Production is limited. The label is designed by the Florentine artist Simonetta Carpini.

I.G.T. Tuscan Rose “Hinthial”

Vines: Merlot 100%

Characteristics: The origin of the name “Hinthial” is found in the Etruscan civilization, an ancient people who lived in Tuscany and that meant “wine of the soul”. After a careful selection of the best Merlot grapes, it is fermented in French barriques and after a short period of aging in bottle, the wine acquires color and intense aroma of fresh fruit and is ready to be tasted.
This rosé wine is part of our most limited and ambitious production. He was born in a land of red wine, home of Sangiovese. After a careful selection of the best Merlot grapes and natural fermentation without adding yeasts in French barriques, Hinthial is born with an intense color and aroma. It is a wine that matures in refinement and stands out for its elegant fragrance of fresh fruit.

Serving suggestions: Excellent as “aperitivo”, but also to be served with pasta dishes and desserts.

Characteristics: intense ruby color, very persistent aromas of red and black fruits with an olfactory fullness and soft taste. Natural fermentation without addition of yeasts for at least 3 weeks with 2 pumpovers per day. Aging of 2 years in cask.

Serving suggestions: first courses of Tuscan cuisine and roast white meats.
